One unfortunate episode in kindergarten can have a huge impact on the whole life...This is exactly thecase of Zhenya, a fifteen-year-old girl who doesn’t speak to everyone and not always, although she reallywants to. Before the incident she was a very capable and sociable girl–she learned to speak and read early,memorized poems easily. But everything changed...Zhenya expresses her feelings through photography, but at school she is a weirdo: teachers consider herunteachable, and classmates bully her.Sister Sonya and friend Fed are the only ones who support her. They even come up with a plan to helpthe girl cope with her problem but situation becomes even more complicated.Despite all the difficulties, Zhenya finds the strength to help others: she supports Uncle Frank, herparents who live without a salary. She even tries to save the cow Zorka from slaughter.In the end, Zhenya finds her own way to be heard without saying a word.
