Golden Altida is a free and joyful place, where even the most noble figures marry for love. True, the royal family is permitted to have only one heir. And the king has no power to challenge this law. Even if it means parting with his wife for ever — sending her, along with her unborn child, to the most distant temple.
Ah, if only one could find Lake Tun in this world, the lake that leaves scars! But how do you know of it, Queen Artemis?..
Lita is the daughter of wayward parents. She lives in the forest, can hear the wind, and always knows when someone nearby needs her special help. It seems that nature itself has chosen the girl to be a guide through life — but what if, one day, life demands war and death?
The story of Lita is the fifth in Tamara Mikheeva’s fantasy series “Seven Spinners”. In these books, the author’s craftsmanship reveals itself in a new light, whilst the tales take on a special depth and allegorical quality. You can read them in any order, discovering one by one the stories of girls who must make their choice — to destroy or to preserve worlds.
