The heroes of the novella “Under the Constellation of Stray Dogs” are back together! This time, Letka, Sasha and Petya face trials that are no less interesting or challenging: problems with their parents, the search for lost dogs, and saving a dog shelter. They will have to deal with matters of life and death — no more and no less. Their friendship and willingness to help people and stray animals will once again be put to the test, whilst Petya’s life will undergo such enormous changes that he could never have imagined.
For attentive readers who love Arthur Conan Doyle’s books, the story will be a sort of quiz: you can try to guess which Sherlock Holmes stories are encoded in the chapter titles. And members of the ‘Brotherhood of the Redheads’ will once again be reminded that loyalty, faithfulness, mutual support, and the ability to overlook the trivial in favour of the essential help one to overcome many obstacles and tackle even the most difficult challenges.
